[quote="vice"]It's Rusto in a bigger can. Why is that not worth getting?

Anyway, the flat vs. gloss argument is silly. It really depends on the color and what you're goin' for.

idk i just thought that maybe it was something different. ill try nd pik it up next time i see it

agreed

i like gloss fills with flat outlines and flat fills with gloss outlines

also like sometimes using the flat vs. gloss contrast for other things too

in my opinion the gloss give to much of a toy feel and the straight Flat is more professional. Like i cant remember Cope or any big writter using a HIGH GLOSS can. I just think the FLAT looks less toy :)

Dont bump old threads.
easy answer here, Flat black Makes other colors pop and is thicker, where gloss i runny and shiny
Satin is Good thicker Paint, gloss is Better Colors But usually thin and runny.

Gloss or semi-gloss pieces will always look better than flat, in my opinion.

Belton, gold, 94 are all "flat" or matte paints which mean less drips, higher coverage, and overall easier to paint with.

But Montana and rusto are gloss. Montana I'm not to crazy about because of it's coverage and control (relative to other pro paints)..... But rusto is AWESOME for the price.... Rusto is harder to paint with (obviously this does not apply to the clowns doing throwups everywhere) but it's thick, and pops on metal. Rusto orange and sail blue is the sh*t!

I did a straight letter with a can of Montana and a nyfat on a boxcar....... I was not please. Might of been the color also that sucked. And I agree rusto fats on Montana are awesome.....nyfats for flares.

I did a fill with a can of high pressure a few weeks ago.... and chuckled the whole way thru the fill. if only I had an unlimited supply......
